Others in My Life
I've been married to a great guy for about a bazillion years; we live out in the sticks with various pets and wild critters. My husband is an applications engineer for a machine tool distributor.
My parents have been married for another bazillion years. My dad is a retired electro-optical engineer. If you run in quilting circles my mom is a fairly well-known quilter (basically a fabric engineer) with a particular knowledge of traditional Amish quilting.
My older sister is a process engineer who knows all about kaizen and workplace production flow and all that stuff. Her husband is a musician and runs a sound studio.
My older brother and his partner are both producers on Broadway. He is also an animator (used to work for Blue's Clues). He also runs in puppetry circles, as a puppeteer and puppet designer.
Me, I am the forgotten middle child.
My little sister is an animator and director who was nommed for a daytime Emmy two years in a row for her directing Blue's Clues. Her husband is also an animator who's worked on various projects ranging from SNL to Ice Age.
